You can expect to: Collaborate with team members across Mexico and LATAM to move communications projects forward Partner with external PR agencies to support execution and track deliverables Communicate with stakeholders in different teams, such as Legal and Policy Seek and provide feedback throughout the internship Actively participate in and contribute to the Communications team and broader Airbnb community A typical day: Supporting the team in developing and editing internal and external materials such as story pitches, op-eds, Q&As, talking points, and presentations Partnering with the Mexico Communications team and PR agencies to organize media events, press trips, and reporter engagement Following up on key deliverables and campaign trackers to ensure timely execution Researching and identifying new media contacts, influencers, and local outlets Monitoring political, arts, entertainment, and travel trends to help shape campaigns Learning how to build strategic communications plans that reflect Airbnb’s mission and local impact.
