As a Visual Designer, you’ll rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences—from concept to execution. Like all of our UX jobs, you’ll collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use. Responsibilities Lead the visual design direction for the AI-powered support surfaces, including our multi-modal AI agent and agent-assistive tools. Develop a comprehensive visual design language and component library for AI-driven support experiences, ensuring consistency, quality, and brand alignment across all touch points. Partner with UX designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers to translate complex AI capabilities (like automated troubleshooting and optimization) into visually engaging user interfaces. Advocate for visual craft and execution across the team. Mentor other designers and use the passion for design to inspire and motivate the organization. Conceptualize and prototype novel visual and motion design patterns for conversational UI, data visualization, and agentic interactions that make our AI feel intelligent, transparent, and approachable.
